Lent begins on Feb. 10 with Ash Wednesday services at noon and 7 pm. The following Wednesday, we begin our Lenten Series, which this year will focus on helping Christians learn about the Muslim faith, who Muslims are and what they believe. In this age of “Islamaphobia,” it is time for us to be better informed. Please join us on the following Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30 pm:
Feb. 17: Holy Eucharist, followed by “Islam 101″
Feb. 24: Stations of the Cross, followed by “Misconceptions about Islam”
March 2: Holy Eucharist, followed by “Islam in America”
March 9: Stations of the Cross, followed by “Making Connections, Part 1: In Which Non-Muslims Make a Case”
March 16: Holy Eucharist, followed by “Making Connections, Part 2: In Which Muslims Have Their Say”
Join us at Church of the Epiphany
Are you looking for a diverse community that values spiritual growth, practices compassion and welcomes all? No matter who you are or where you are on your journey of faith, there is a place for you here.
We are a welcoming Christian community that is a part of the Episcopal Church and the worldwide Anglican Communion. We are people of all ages and backgrounds who are actively seeking and living out God’s purpose and direction for our lives. Epiphany’s mission is to manifest Christ’s love to the world. As we follow many different pathways in our lives, we take time to join together in worship, to learn from each other, to grow spiritually and to reach out to the world around us.
Come and experience Epiphany — we look forward to welcoming you!
